Wood County Election Results

QUESTION 1: “Photographic identification for voting. Shall section 1m of article III of the constitution be created to require that voters present valid photographic identification verifying their identity in order to vote in any election, subject to exceptions which may be established by law?”

“Under state law, the increase in the levy of the City of Marshfield for the tax to be imposed for the next fiscal year, 2026, is limited to 1.015%, which results in a levy of $15,703,991. Shall the City of Marshfield be allowed to exceed this limit and increase the levy for the next fiscal year, 2026, for the purpose of returning to 2021 staffing levels by hiring and retaining two full-time firefighter/paramedics, by a total of 1.63%, which results in a levy of $15,960,894, and, on an ongoing basis, include the increase of $256,903 for each fiscal year going forward?”

Question Number I: Shall the School District of Auburndale, Wood, Marathon and Portage Counties, Wisconsin be authorized to issue pursuant to Chapter 67 of the Wisconsin Statutes, general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed $4,500,000 for the public purpose of paying the cost of a school facility improvement project consisting of: district-wide renovations, including classroom updates, construction of a safe and secure entrance at the Elementary School and office, roof replacement, capital maintenance and building infrastructure improvements; replacement of the High School track; and acquisition of furnishings, fixtures and equipment?

Question Number Il: Shall the School District of Auburndale, Wood, Marathon and Portage Counties, Wisconsin be authorized to issue pursuant to Chapter 67 of the Wisconsin Statutes, general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed $9,000,000 for the public purpose of paying the cost of a school building and facility improvement project at the Middle/High School consisting of: construction of a safe and secure entrance, and renovations to the main office; construction of an addition and renovations for cafeteria, multipurpose and auditorium space; and acquisition of furnishings, fixtures and equipment?

"Shall the School District of Nekoosa, located in Wood County, Adams County, and Juneau County, Wisconsin, be authorized to exceed the revenue limit specified in Section 121.91, Wisconsin Statutes, by $2,000,000 per year for five years, beginning with the 2025-2026 school year and ending with the 2029-2030 school year, for non-recurring purposes consisting of operational expenses, including but not limited to improving and maintaining District programs?"
